The number of sessions varies depending on your circumstances and issues. Short-term support typically involves 6 to 12 sessions, whilst longer-term therapy can continue for several months. What do you love most about your job?

I love being a part of people's change process. Knowing how hard it is to change our thoughts and behaviours, being able to help someone achieve this is very gratifying. I also love learning all the different ways our brains work and trying to get it to work for us and not against us

What inspired you to start your own business?

I started my own business as Saamador recently and my life has changed. The process of being mentally stimulated is the result of getting inspired. The most rewarding part of being a counsellor is knowing that you had a part in affecting the life of another human being. Giving hope when people feel hopeless. Inspiring others to be all that they are capable of being, so that they can go out into the world and pay it forward by helping others

Why should our clients choose you?

My services are entirely bespoke to the clients' needs. I assess and perform the deep healing techniques.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Through a remote connection, I can access your energy and channel the appropriate techniques to help you heal on a physical, mental, and emotional level.

At the end of each session, I will provide you with a detailed report that summarizes the areas addressed, giving you clarity on the identified energy blockages and personalized recommendations for improving your health and quality of life.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Saama can be done remotely and is as efficient as the therapy in person.

I nearly didn’t contact Medi8 because I wasn’t sure what to expect from relationship support, but it turned out to be exactly what we needed. Stuart doesn’t just sit there nodding, he actually says what he thinks. At one point he compared our arguments to two people trying to reverse park into the same space from opposite directions, which oddly made perfect sense. We didn’t walk out magically fixed, but we did walk out actually understanding each other, which is a big change. Even my partner (who didn’t want to come in the first place) said it was worth it, which probably says everything.

This will vary according to the level of experience and training that the therapist holds.

This will depend on where you live, what level of training your therapist has and what they specialise in (whether they are a counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist) and also how many years of working experience they have.

Your professional therapist will be able to advise you on the full range of therapies available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted therapist today.

You need to devote some time to finding the right therapist as the connection you have with your therapist is essential. You need someone who you can trust, someone you feel comfortable talking to about difficult subjects and intimate secrets, someone who will be a partner in your recovery. Therapy will not be effective unless you have this bond, so take some time in the beginning to find the right person.

It is worth talking to a few potential therapists and asking questions. Therapists also have special areas of focus, such as depression or eating disorders. For some issues, such as trauma or PTSD, seeing a specialist is absolutely essential.

Everyone’s treatment is different. How long your therapy lasts depends on many factors.

You may be offered a single session of counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.

It can take a number of sessions before you start to see progress but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your trusted Bark therapist.

Professional counsellor training takes three to five years and can be a diploma or degree level. Qualification requires a minimum number of client hours acquired through a work placement.

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and Bark can show you reviews from past customers who have used their therapy.

Therapy has repeatedly and consistently helped patients with a whole host of issues. It can help with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder. Or it can help with an upsetting physical health condition such as infertility, a difficult life event such as a bereavement or a relationship breakdown. It can also be used to tackle difficult emotions such as low self-esteem, anger or sexual identity issues. Therapists also offer couples therapy. Therapists can also help with anxiety issues deriving from the coronavirus.

Absolutely! Many therapists offer sessions over the phone or through an online video chat platform, so you can have a session from the comfort of your own home - all you need is a strong internet connection and you're good to go.
